Hi lovelies! My name is Jennifer and I’m a Northern Virginia/DC based blogger with a love for all things colorful + bright! I just recently moved back to the area after living in sunny San Diego for two years. LoveJenMarie was created as a space to share my love of creativity, fashion, home decor, and wellness tips in hopes that all of you lovely readers will find something that sparks joy from within!
The creation of Love Jen Marie first originated in 2016 when I got really excited about the idea of having a blog because I absolutely LOVE to write! At the time I had two full-time jobs and I didn’t have the time to dedicate all of myself to it, so I put the idea away! A few years and lots of research later and here I am in 2019, FINALLY launching it to the world! I’m excited for this journey ahead you guys! Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my blog!

Where are you from?
I was born and raised in Northern Virginia and moved to San Diego in 2018 where I grew my Instagram and Blog. I’m recently married and moved back to Virginia with my husband. I miss Southern California everyday, but as you can tell, I’ve kept my California style with me!
What do you do besides blogging?
Before becoming self-employed in 2016, I worked in the corporate world since the summer after high school. I became SO eager to pursue my creative talents and start my own business! Aside from blogging, I am a branding strategist + graphic designer. I currently sell my designs on Etsy, but my new design company + website will be launching in the next few months! Since early 2012, I have been running a retail boutique + whole business through an app called Poshmark. You can learn more about it on the tab on the top of my page! In my free time you’ll also catch me singing + songwriting!
Who takes your photos and what presets do you use?
This is a question I get asked ALL the time! 🙂 I take most of my photos by myself, except for styled shoots which my boyfriend or one of my friends will take for me. All of my presets I created myself, so if you like them and want to use them on your photos, I will be selling them soon! Stay tuned!

How do you grow your hair so long?
I’ve had long hair my entire life! I’ve never dyed it and I try to use natural products as often as I can. For example, my new go to product is Pantene Pro-V’s Rose Water Shampoo + Conditioner Kit. It’s sulfate free, smells amazing and gives my hair extra moisture, leaving it super shiny!
What are some of your favorite things?
- I love all things pink + colorful (if you haven’t noticed already!)
- I’m obsessed with bubble tea, any kind of Asian food and well just FOOD in general! I’m a big foodie 🙂
- Traveling has my heart
- I LOVE cats. Yes, I am a crazy cat lady and I have 2 kitties!
- The beach. I still can’t believe I live so close to it!
- Ice Cream, donuts, brownies, ALL the sweet things!
- I have a passion for home decor + designing pretty things.
- I love modern bohemian clothes + yoga outfits!
- I love singing, songwriting +creative writing
- I love picnics, quiet days under a tree, listening to birds sing!
