I can’t believe little Ella is already approaching 6 months old! Moms aren’t kidding when they say the time goes by in the blink of an eye. It feels like yesterday that I was still pregnant and awaiting her arrival. Today I’m excited to share my partnership with VTech Toys for some of their amazing baby products! Ella is becoming a pro at meeting all her milestones thanks to tummy time and using her fine motor skills with her favorite new toys! Kick & Score Playgym
Matt and I are both very into fitness, so it’s no surprise we love this little play gym for Ella! It’s a great way to introduce her to “getting fit” with its dumbbell rattle and twist-and-click dumbbell to help strengthen her core muscles and fine motor skills. When she lays on her back she loves kicking and “scoring goals”. It’s especially great for tummy time since it has an interactive learning panel that allows her to learn shapes, colors and animals. Tummy time is really important in the 4-6 month age range because it helps baby learn how to crawl. We think Ella might be hitting that milestone prettttttyyy soon! This play gym also lights up and plays fun music! If you want something interactive on the go, you can even detach the musical panel. I also love that as she grows into her first and second year she can still enjoy seated play and stay interactive with all of the toys and audio prompts. It’s a win win!
Turn & Learn Ferris Wheel
The moment I turned this adorable little ferris wheel on, Ella started having a BLAST. She is totally obsessed with this toy. It comes with a suction cup so you can attach it to any activity center. This toy moves round-and-round as baby pulls it in either direction. The colorful lion, zebra and elephants all make different sounds, sing songs and have their own unique voices. These are all foundations for baby to reinforce language skills. I swear, Ella plays for over an hour with this toy in her activity center. As a new mom, I can’t recommend it enough.
Turtle’s Busy Day Soft Book
What a fun book for tummy time or on the go! This interactive storybook offers something for baby to discover on each page: lift the flap, explore textures and sounds, and find the peek-a-boo mirror and caterpillar finger puppet. You can press the button tabs at the top of each page to hear the animals sing and talk. The bright colors attract babies and the fabric textures help them explore their sense of touch. Ella especially loves the crinkly paper! We love how it attaches to her stroller and carrier. We recently took a trip to the beach and this kept her entertained the whole time. Another thing we love, the surface is washable!
