Hi loves! I’m so excited you’re here for Part II of our wedding photos! If you didn’t catch Part I where I shared Getting Ready, Details and First Look, you can find the blog post here.
Although it was drizzling rain on our wedding day, it made for the most gorgeous photos and we didn’t even care because we were so excited! While the entire day was perfect, the reception was when all of the stress of the day melted away and we all were able to relax and enjoy the incredible assortment of food from our catering company Serendipity. They are AMAZING if you live in the DC area and are looking for the perfect food and desserts for your wedding. I also have to say that our cake was the most incredible cake we’ve ever tasted. We chose an almond vanilla buttercream cake from Gateau Bakery in Warrenton, VA – it was so delicious we decided we’ll come back to get a few slices every year on our anniversary!
Our first dance was on the back entrance of the mansion. Everything was candlelit and the DJ hosted the livestream so our family at home could watch. After the first dance and mother/son dance, we all headed inside for dinner and cake cutting.
You can find a list of all our vendors at the bottom of this post! Without further ado…
