Hi loves! Today’s post is extra special because I’m finally sharing our official WEDDING PHOTOS with you! Our photographer Kir Tuben was such a DREAM to work with. She is rated one of top wedding photographers in the DC/Northern Virginia area and also travels the world to shoot weddings! I cannot recommend her enough if you’re looking for a true professional. She is also a hybrid photographer which means she shoots in both real film and digital.

A Great Marsh Estate Wedding | Bealeton, VA
Our wedding was held at Great Marsh Estate in Bealeton, VA on October 25, 2020. If you imagine an elegant chateau on a large property in the French countryside, this is exactly what it feels like! The grounds are huge with access to the mansion for the ceremony and a large barn for the reception. There’s also a lake in front of the mansion which make for beautiful photos. We planned for 150 guests, but due to covid restrictions and safety, we only had 8 of our closest family members there. Our wedding planner, Terry Kate Events, was incredible from start to finish. She works quickly and efficiently – I highly recommend her if you live in the DC area! Out of all the gorgeous mild days in October, the morning of our wedding was cold and drizzling. We did NOT let the weather get the best of us and still had our ceremony outside. My dress had so many layers I didn’t even notice the cold! Did you know that cloudy, rainy days actually allow for better photography? It’s true!
One of my reasons for booking Great Marsh Estate as our wedding venue was because of the STUNNING bridal suite. I wanted a pink, elegant room that made me feel like a princess and as you can see from the photos, it was exactly that!

We truly had the most incredible vendors. We are so thankful for all the hard word they put in to go above and beyond, especially during covid. They took all the safety precautions and made our wedding into a dream come true! Our florist, LeRoy French Florals, took my inspiration and created the perfect bouquet and urns with pinks, corals and whites.
